UniHouse Role & Contribution
UniHouse played a key role in the establishment and co-management of a comprehensive technical training center to enhance workforce capabilities in Iraq’s energy sector. The initiative focused on curriculum development, technical upskilling, and leadership training to ensure long-term sustainability and industry alignment. By collaborating with key stakeholders, UniHouse supported the development of a structured training framework and operational model to drive workforce excellence.
Key Initiatives Included:
- Designing a sustainable training framework, including curriculum development, assessments, quality assurance, and certification systems aligned with international standards.
- Developing operational guidelines and training curricula based on British engineering standards to support local workforce upskilling.
- Delivering advanced technical training in digital skills, inspection, welding, and compliance training to BS engineering standards, benefiting 110 trainees across electrical, civil, and mechanical disciplines.
- Integrating managerial leadership training to prepare professionals for executive roles within the refinery sector.
- Providing mentorship programs for South Refinery Company’s leadership teams to independently manage training operations.
- Ensuring sustainability through structured knowledge transfer and operational handover to South Refinery Company’s management.
- Coordinating with Iraq’s Ministry of Oil and South Refinery Company’s executives to align training objectives with national workforce policies and industrial growth strategies.
- Implementing structured performance monitoring and evaluation systems to measure training outcomes, workforce readiness, and long-term impact.
