UniHouse played a pivotal role in revising educational frameworks, building workforce succession plans, and providing strategic advisory services to shape Iraq’s future leadership in the oil and gas sector. The initiative ensured a structured approach to capacity building, aligning education and workforce strategies with international best practices. By integrating long-term workforce planning, leadership development, and higher education scholarship management, UniHouse contributed to Iraq’s sustainable energy sector growth and BP operates one of the largest oil reservoirs in the world


Key contributions included:

  • Workforce Development & Training: Designed and delivered specialized training programs in human resource management, project management, and leadership, equipping 500 professionals with skills to manage complex operations in the Rumaila oil field.
  • BSc, Master’s, and PhD Scholarship Management: Facilitated the placement and academic oversight of 350 scholars across 12 leading UK universities, fostering advanced expertise in engineering, reservoir management, and finance.
  • BSc programs: Developed a strong foundation in technical expertise.
  • Master’s programs: Enhanced specialization in critical industry disciplines.
  • PhD programs: Strengthened Iraq’s leadership and research capacity in energy sector management.
  • Educational Framework Revisions: Developed competency-based curricula to align Iraq’s higher education programs with global energy industry standards
  • Industry & Government Alignment: Partnered with Iraq’s Ministry of Oil to align workforce strategies with national energy sector priorities, ensuring long-term sustainability
